Licensing

Purchased catalog exports include a license field for every recipe. The license is opaque and can be validated by Pepesto at https://s.pepesto.com/license&l=LICENSE; a valid license confirms that Pepesto allows third parties to serve that recipe without attribution on third-party websites and applications. Are the recipes human-authored?

Yes. All recipes are human-authored. Images are AI-generated. Nutrition and allergens are computed based on Pepesto's knowledge graph, not generated by AI.

Are the recipes curated?

Yes, we use AI to curate human-authored recipes and exclude those with common issues, such as mismatches between steps and ingredients, inaccurate quantities, or incorrect cooking times.

Is further customization or filtering possible?

Yes, but only for larger recipe batches. An additional fee applies to each recipe because this requires developing new classifiers. If you’re interested, please contact us. You can also try the suggest endpoint, which lets you retrieve recipes using a more specific query.
